Breast pills versus breast implants, the pros and cons
When faced with the decision of enhancing their personal looks, women have a number of alternatives to turn to, especially referring the improvement of the breast line. The two most popular ones are the breast augmentation surgeries and the breast pills. Let us analyze advantages and disadvantages of both methods.
In their imagination people have the fantasy that breast augmentation surgery is immediate, almost magic. Nothing further from the truth. Depending on the selected procedure for each case -whether the implants are to be placed on the pectoral muscles or below it, for instance- the pre-op cares usually take a few days. Before the operation, any conscious doctor will have performed the pre-op battery of tests, and will have in his power a detailed medical history, so as to rule out unwanted complications. As in any other surgical procedure, no matter how minor it might be considered, the risk of complication exists, from an infection, to an embolism. And the patient will have to bear from mild discomfort to severe pain, depending on each case once the surgery is performed.
In the case of breast pills, the risk is non-existent. Although breast pills need a period between four to six weeks, the result is much more natural. There is no sense of “fakeness” or “artificiality”, since breast pills allow the mammal gland to regenerate in the same way a teen-ager grows her bust.
Not only that this span of time allows for relatives and friends to get used to the patient’s new anatomy much more gradually, it also helps the patient to prepare for her new reality of wearing a bigger breast-line.
